My boyfriend just took the rest of the Vicodin in the bottle...?

I'm sitting on the phone with him. He keeps puking. I can't get over there. I don't think he's gonna die, but what can he do? What should I do? He did it because he suspected something between me and a friend. He said he took the rest of the bottle, but I'm sure it was about 10 or so...

I have...no idea what to do...

well if you can't get over there, there really isn't anything you can do. if he had not started vomiting, then it would likely kill him, but as it is, since he is vomiting, he will simply be very sick for a while, then he will sleep for a while. I suggest that he needs serious counselling if he tried such a stupid stunt.

I think instead of sitting here on the computer you should be calling 911 and telling them where your boyfriend is so they can go get him. Overdosing on Vicoden can potentially kill you so your boyfriend needs to get to a hospital right away.

Call the cops. He may be pissed when they show up, but when he's alive later, he'll be thankful and so will you.

So let me get this straight...he got mad (or upset) and took a bottle of vicodin...in my eyes that is attempted suicide and you should call 911 he may need limited medical help (since he is puking), but he definitely needs psychiatric help...

Call the paramedics. Then dump him. This should not develop into a serious relationship. If he is so jealous that he tried to kill himself over a suspected "something" with you and your friend, this will continue long after it is too late to simply end your relationship with him. Move on, you can find so much better out there.
