Usually when you have a fracture or a brake in any bone you will get alot off discomfort, pain and swelling, the only way you will know if you have any off these is by having a x-ray.Treatment will then be giving all depending on the injury, normally a plaster cast for 6-8wks for a fracture,or if its a sprain tubigrip.Good Luck
Go to A&E and get an x ray.

Any bone or break is usually marked by a lot of pain and swelling. So if this is the case it maybe best to go to the hospital for an X-Ray also if you have tingling or pins and needles this could be another clue. but don't put is off if the bone resets it self it would certainly complicate treatment.
I broke the bone that connects my index finger knuckle to my wrist, at first it was very red and very swollen and i didnt realise it was broken, then when all the swelling went down there was a big lump on the bone where hte break was. I was stupid and never went to hospital, now a year later my bone is bent with one end poking up in a lump near my wrist, there is also a lump on the bone where the break aws still.
please go to hospital if you think it might be broken it really isnt worth leaving, it makes it so hard to write and mine is still painful sometimes now.
