This isn't always convenient, but the thing that works the quickest for me is to lie down and change your position every couple of minutes or so (lie on your tummy, then right side, then on your back, then left side) until the air bubbles dislodge.
It's also important to relax. Try taking some deep breaths. Stress can be a major cause of trapped air in your intestines. What helps you relax?
Simethicone is the generic ingredient in medications like Gas-X that works wonders. Personally, I think the chewable tablets work faster than the others. You should be able to find it in any department store that sells over-the-counter medications.

Take a glass of lukewarm water and put 2 teaspoons of baking soda in it then drink it all real fast.
you should try gas x it works great...but you should also pay attention to what foods you eat that cause the gas...and learn to avoid them if you can
Stop eating Mexican food? Try TUMS, or for your gas Beano.
try baking soda mixed in water .mobility is important so excercise daily. avoid starchy &oily food&root vegetables . eat at regular times
I use PEPCID COMPLETE. Best thing for your problem, at least it works for me.

The problem of gas can be easily sorted out in many ways;
1. Do not eat raw foods or foods that are refrigerated or cooked previous night.
2. Do not eat in a hurry or talk / watch TV while eating.
3. Do not work while eating or run to attend to work soon after you've finished your meal. You need to give at least 10 minutes for the food to start getting into the process of digestion in the stomach.
4. Do not lie down after food.
Prepare this simple recipe at home. You will Asafoetida in any good Indian store. Take 1 teaspoon of it & fry it in Clarified butter. Add to it one teaspoon each of Cardamom + Dry Ginger + Black Salt powders. Now mix 3 pinches of this powder in warm salt water (100ml) & consume it 10 minutes before you have your meal (Breakfast & Lunch).
