What is the best health insurance to have for surgery and allergy shots ?

I need to have surgery on a torn a.c.l. ligament in my knee and I need allergy shots. I heard blue cross and GHI are the best but i'm not sure which one to get for my imparticular needs.

Most companies exclude pre existing conditions. It doesn't sound like you can get coverage through your employment so you will have to talk to an independent insurance agent to see what is available for you. This would be your best first step. And watch those scams that come over the fax or e-mail about cheap insurance.
Like the other person has said, no insurance company will cover you with a pre-exiting health problem. You can try to get insurance and dont tell them, then try to get surgery like a month or 2 later.
