Bad back? Bad lower back pains from sleeping in this bed?

Question:
My back started hurting about a year ago and I thought it was our mattress. We got a new one recently but my back pain still continued for months. We went with a softer one that time and that didn't fix the problem. We were lucky enough to exchange the mattress that we just bought and we got one that is more firm, the kind that I've always been used to. My back pain continues. I wake up stiff and I'm up during the night trying to get comfortable. It is just my lower back that hurts and it starts throbbing almost as soon as I lay down in my bed. I've tried sleeping with pillows in between my legs. Nothing helps. The pain almost immediately goes away after 20 minutes of being up in the morning, however, it continues to be sore throughout the day.

Also, for some weird reason, (probably because I sleep on my side) my collarbone hurts really bad when I lay down to sleep. It feels like someone sat an anvil on my collarbone while I was sleeping all night. I'm only 26. What gives?

Answers:
it could be that when you lay down your pressing on a nerve. i mean you say when you get up the pain goes away after 20 minutes. that's what it seem's to me. as for your collar bone that could be something totally unrelated to your back pain. that could simply be that you need to invest i a proper pillow that support's the neck. not just any pillow. look around. go see your doctor about that pinched nerve and while you are doing that ask him or if he give's you a referal to a chiropractor ask him to suggest a good pillow that support's both the neck and head

good luck
Sounds like you are out of alignment and could use seeing a physical therapist that does manual manipulations or a chiropractor. I prefer the therapist over the chiropractor, but either should be able to fix you right up. Best wishes!!
