pfft yeah like in kill bill? -.-
I was watching some kung-fu show on history channel that said a hockey player got hit in the chest with a hockey puck and died instantly.
Its the one show where the 2 guys travel the world and learn all the martial arts. Its called: THE HUMAN WEAPON.
It said a hockey puck flies at the same force as a good karate strike.
wow! my friend told me about this the other day!
she knew about someone that was jus playing around with his mates & was punching him self in the chest (not real but joking kinda way) & he hit 2 hard & fell to the ground.. & unfortunately died.
apparently he hit it at the worst time.. when the heart isnt beating like inbetween the beats. it made the boys heart go into cardiac arrest & died by the time the ambulances got there.. his friends thought he was joking wen he was on the ground poor guy.
sorry but i dont know any sites but the above story is true.
I doubt that a blow that did not break any bones would be hard enough to stop the heart. The chest cavity protects the heart and lungs. They can receive damage from shock waves in an explosion without the ribs being broken, but getting hit by someone with their fist is not going to be enough force to kill anyone.
