HELP!! What is the best medicine for a sinus infection?

Question:
My husband and I are both getting sinus infections... They are just starting.. What is the best way to get rid of them fast... Everytime we get them they last for 3-4 weeks and we can not deal with it that long.

Answers:
sudafed, doctors will often prescribe an antibiotic. Hot and cold compresses help the pressure also.
I had the best medicine.. I used Augmentin...875mg... It knocks it out within 2 days!
anti biot ics
See your doctor for antibiotics
TISSUE AND PINEAPPLE JUICE
Vicks
See a doctor..self medicating yourselves doesn't always work right or to your benefit. A "real/true" infection usually requires antibiotics...and a physician will prescribe this for you both. NO INSURANCE...ASK YOUR LOCAL PHARMACIST..HE/SHE MIGHT BE ABLE TO GUIDE YOU.
There's an over the counter medicine you can buy that at the first signs of a cold you can use it and it will work to make it go away.
I think it's called 'Airborne' or something like that.
Talk to a Pharmacist and they will be able to give you the best advice.
You will need antibiotics though for a sinus infection because it won't go away without it.
Sinus infections are awful,I used to get them all the time myself so I know how you feel.
I hope you get better soon.
See your doctor, probably a big dose of antibiotic, augmenton is best.
sinus wash with salt water
