Abdominal pain?

Question:

for almost 2 weeks now i have been having a pain around my belly button that feels like fullness i told my doctor about it and he just shrugged it off i was wondering what it could possibly be? i also have mitral valve prolapse that has started acting up could that have anything to do with it?

well your md shoulve said if it continues, to come back in for more evaluation. you could be describing a gall bladder problem, an ulcer etc. any new stress will make whatever your other issues are (mvp) to also become a problem. this should also let you know, its not in your head! if u think the md you saw is not nice,seek someone else asap.goodluck;)michele

It could be excess gas. Does it go away and come back after eating?

The doctor shrugged off my abdominal aches once, too. Turned out to be appendicitis. Emergency surgery. So, if it persists, ask another health care provider for an evaluation.
