Having a discussion with a colleague. Is RSI a form of arthritis or not?

Question:
I say it is

Answers:
No .. Its not .. RSi is fully reversible, and it comes by straining a certain joint in ur body .. and is not caused by disease..
No its repetitive strain injury and its not a form of arthritis. It is caused by doing tasks that are repetitive. Check out this site www.repetitive-strain-injury.c... Hope this helps
rsi is caused by repetetive movements in the same joints and muscles over a period of time whick causes the joints and muscles to strain to hard as they are not being used properly. excersizing and stretching are the best methos of fixing rsi, or at least thats what my doc told me when i had it, fully fixed after a short period of strecting and excersizing, but make sure its seen to by a doc.
in conclusion, its got nothing to do with arthritis or rhumatic pain
