i was in the bathroom and i kinda turned around and fell into the tub it was kind of funny until i had to get up. my tailbone kinda hurts. when i bend or something it hurts. im worried that its broken =/ is there a way to heal it or something?

Answers:
you can apply ice, it will numb the pain after thirty minutes or so and decrease inflammation in the area. You can also take Ibuprofen for the same purpose, decrease inflammation.
Otherwise, don't sit, and give it time.
Take an ibuprofen.
Go to a doctor, they can't set your tail bone, it has to heal on it's own and it's going to be painful ...
Ice to stop swelling

Heat to relax it

Muscle relaxer or those pain patches they sell otc.
it is impossible to be fixed =so, you will have to take pain killers until it feels better
It will heal in time for the pain try some ibuprofen follow the instructions on the bottle. Don't use if allergic.
man, that is painful. I was standing on a chair one time and the backing was thin steal and I fell on it directly on my tailbone. Wow, a pain that was really indescribable!!
It went away but to this day I can remember that very vividly.
I agree, add ice and if it continues, go to a doc. hope u feel better.
Put ice on it or Tiger bomb...and you'll feel better in a couble day
i did almost the same thing but i sat for to long on a bus but then when ever i sat up it hurt i don't know how to fully cure it but it helps a lot if you lay down and put ice on it for a while it will feel alot better.
Vitamin e and zinc are good for healing tissue. Also, a supplement such as arnica is good for trauma, which your coccyx have suffered. Seems like the bone either snapped forward or backward.

Goodluck=
go to the docters
I know how painful it is. I fell down a flight of stairs, on my back, hitting my tailbone on each step, really fast. By the time I was on the floor at the bottom of the stairs, I could not move & was screaming.

At the hospital, after x-rays, I was told that I had actually bent the tailbone!

Ice is used to keep swelling down - but only for the first 24 hours. After that, you use heat to help soothe the pain; but, it doesn't work very well. That works better with muscles, not bone.

General painkillers won't help, nor would serious narcotic painkillers; again, these are for muscles & nerves. What you need is an anti-inflammatory. I was given Naprosen (also called Naproxen) to reduce pain and inflammation. Back then, it was a prescription; now they sell it over-the-counter. It is found in Aleve and other meds, but try Aleve.

It will not take away the pain completely because the injury is in a bad spot. Every time you lean over, you pull against it. Sitting will be difficult; try leaning forward a bit. It is easier to sit on a hard chair than a soft chair.

Time is the only way to heal it, along with the anti-inflammatory. Ibuprofen will not be strong enough for it. If you take the medicine, it will heal faster. If you hurt it badly, it usually takes about 4 weeks to heal; you can shorten that with Naprosen. Good luck; feel better soon.
haha. with skateboarding that happens pretty much at least twice a day. you just have to tough it out.
that always happens to me--lol--i always fall on my butt i just put ice in a bag then in a towel and just sit on the ice and watch TV or something--ice really works when ever that happens to me it is gone by the next day
