Will my insurance cover my chiropractic care?

Question:
Does anyone know if my insurance covers chiropractor visits.. and if there is a limit to which they will cover such as only "x amount" of visits per calender year?

Answers:
It depends on your plan - you can check your benefits online or via phone, but make sure you are very clear when you call to see if something is covered WHEN DONE BY A CHIROPRACTOR (certain services under certain plans might be covered if done by another kind of doctor, but not a doctor of chiropractic). I manage a chiropractic clinic and we pre-verify all insurance as a courtesy to our new patients, any doctor you visit should do the same.
I can only answer for my health insurance and no it will not cover chiropractor visits.
It depends on the plan, which can vary based on the agreement of who is paying for your insurance. If you employer pays for it, their agreement with the provider may be different than what would be paid in agreement with a plan from another employer. You'll need to call the provider to get specifics on coverage and limits. Chiropractic care is one of those things that isn't covered by all providers--and even then, not all doctors may take your insurance. Good luck!
Most do. Just call them to be sure or ask the Chiropractor if they take your kind of insurance.
I am a chiropractor~ check online to see who is in your network~ if you don't want to do that just call the chiropractic office and they will check your benefits for you.
Just call the chiropractic office ask if they are in network with your insurance if they say no, call till you find one that is
