Coccygeal pain please help!!?

ive been having this tingling weird pain on my tailbone for a week now and it wont go away i was wondering if there was any home treatments i could do. my parents dont wanna take me to the doctor because they think its nothing when im actually suffering please help

You might have a Pilonidal cyst. You really need to see a doctor to get a definitive diagnosis.

this sounds like it a pilonidal cyst. they run in families and you are born with it. try to avoid sitting on hard surfaces and lifting too much while in pain. if they will et u take an over the counter pain reliever thats an nsaid like advil it will help with the pain and also help with the inflammation. tylenol will only help with the pain.if it gets bad, or really enlarges and causes pain try a hot bath to see if it will decompress. or you may have to consult an md because it is a medical issue.goodluck;)michele
