Finger pains after sprain?

Question:
i sprained my finger a while ago, about 3-4 weeks (i've gained full movement back) and im getting a almost stiffness pain in my finger once in awhile, is this normal??

Answers:
yes, this is normal. Sprains take a long time to heal more like four months. What you can do is soak your hand in hot water with 1c. of Epsom salts. This will help with the stiffness. Afterwards massage an analgesic cream into the finger. rest as much as you can the finger for the next few months so that it can properly heal.
