Those definitely sound like flu symptoms, but there's nothing to be really scared about. Call your husband at work, and ask him to pick up some NyQuil on his way home. The capsules are best. Take two of them, and go to bed. You really shouldn't eat much of anything if you have a fever, particularly NO dairy products because they can curdle on your stomach. But you should drink lots of water. In the morning, take another couple of NyQuil and sleep all day if it helps.
Sounds pretty bad.
If it were me, I'd take some NyQuil, drink a lot of water, and go to bed and try to get some sleep.
go to the doctors!
eat soup, and workout and sweat it out make you stronger, or go walgreen and buy med on they will say flu med. thera flu i think
Get plenty of rest, drink tea or chicken broth, try Tylenol Cold & Flu, go to sleep.
There's nothing to be scared of.
Chill...you probably DO have some sort of Flu. Just drink plenty of liquids and rest. Take Tylenol to keep your fever down (99.7 really isn't that high, though). Haven't you ever been sick?
go see a doctor asap before you do anything, you don't want to take any chances. & don't take any medicine before you go
Sounds like flu symptoms.
Sip clear soup, drink plenty of water or juice, take tylenol for the fever, go to bed and REST!
I can't believe you never had the flu before!
You dont' go to the doctors office with the flu.. first of all it would be dangerous to drive and secondly you don't want to give it to the rest of the patients, let alone the nurse and doctors.
Take some TheraFlu - drink hot tea, and get some sleep. Take Ibuprofen for the achiness and the fever. Best to find an over the counter med that is specific for flu though.
Nothing to be afraid of... millions of Americans get the flu every year and live to tell about it. The only ones who die from flu are the ones who are very sick, very young (babies), or the very old (seniors)
drink some 7up, OJ, Eat a apple or other fruit.. take flu meds..
I think you should take a flu medicine and as far as eating.you should probably keep it light. soup and crackers would be the best bet! and of course your sick, 7up!
Drink lots of water. You can eat if you feel like it. Start with crackers or soup. There is really nothing you can take for the flu, but you need lots of rest.
you need a shrink more than a doctor. billions of people get the flu without being scared. 99.7 is a very low fever. you can eat anything you wish. drink hot tea. take the ibuprofen, and take a nap.
You can eat anything if you have a virus, but I'd avoid eating heavy meals or things that take a long time to cook. Drink plenty of water, or juice, or broth.
If you're shaky, I'd avoid soda; caffiene might not help you get the rest you need. If you're feeling congested, try to avoid dairy. Many people like lemon tea or light foods when they're sick.
It's best to get to a doctor or hospital to be checked out, you shouldn't self prescribe. Take some painkillers if it helps with the pain but then try to go somewhere to get checked out. Your body might need some help fighting it. Maybe call your husband and ask if he can take you somewhere after work and take a nap until he gets home?
Remember to stay hydrated!
lay down, take a couple of tylenols, eat some some (something with chicken broth), maybe a few crackers, keep well hydrated. if your stomach hurts, maybe drink some gingerale. turn on t.v and wait for hubby to come home to take care of you. hope you feel better.
if your symptoms get worse or you really feel like its something other then the flu call your doctor or go to the hospital
http://www.cdc.gov/flu/symptoms.htm... . This website will descirbe flu symptoms. If you navigate a little around the website you will also find treatments and other things. Your temperature is slightly high but not dangerous. Just monitor it often and if it doesnt get above that i would not be to concerned
drink lots of fluids! get lots of sleep. take a hot steamy shower. put a cold rag on your head. take acetaminophen. stay clean--don't go around with the same germy clothes. and http://www.kidshealth.org/teen/infection... don't watch tv, it makes it worse
The only meds I have found that really seem to help flu symptoms is Benylin All-in-one tablets. They have daytime or nighttime or both. They will definitely give you some relief.
Drink lots of fluids and get plenty of rest. If you are hungry, eat, but I would make it simple things like eggs, toast, soup, etc. for awhile. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
Liquid diet only! Like in the hospitail they give u a cup of hot water w a packet of any kind of bouiln! Nothing else! Only clear liquids 2 drink water u can drink decaffinated tea 2! U can drink pedia sure 2 it will help keep hydrated! U can try maylox or peptobismal.. They also have a med 2 help(over the counter) keep from throwing up! I hope u feel better!
the shaking and dizzy could be from dehydration. and you feel yucky so you are panicking, tight chest. i would suggest LOTS of water and gatorade. if you have a fever take tylenol and motrin (alternate them) i do this alot with the ok from MY dr. sounds like a sugar drop could also be causing your problem, try orange juice or some candy. i would seriously talk to a dr/nurse for advice further
