I got my ears pierced about a weak ago and one of them is swelling?

Question:

The ear that is swelling is in pain and what should I do. I dont think I am allergic to the earing because the other ear is completly fine. Should I take it out? This my first time getting my ears pierced.

Put some hydrogen peroxide on the ear and wash thoroughly. Do this three or four times. Eventually it should start getting better.
Did you make sure to get real gold earrings? If not, you may have to go back to where you got it done and ask for gold. I cannot wear anything but gold in my ears and it took me three times before I figured it out.
If your ear doesn't get better in a few days, go see a doctor for some antibiotics.

get it checked out. maybe infected if the swelling is warm. definately is if there is pus

You should get to a doctor ASAP.. You have an infection and need antibiotics. In the meantime, put some Neosporin ointment on the front and back of your ear piercing and gently work it into the wound.
