You probably have a small sty inside your eye. Remember not to wear make up if it is really inflamed. Your mascara should be thrown out every three months, I suggest if it gets worse to see a doctor , but try not to wear make up until its gone and throw out the mascara that you have. You can buy polysporin ointment for the eye at the drugstore, ask your pharmacist, and you can applyt that to your outer eyelid and it will help. The best thing though remember don;t rub your eye, easier said that done right? take care
I think you need to ease up on the make up.Stop with the eyeliners,maskara and eye shadows or else your condition will only become worse.These stuff contain ingredients that might not agree with your skin.

i agree, it sounds exactly like a sty. stop the eye makeup thing and keep the area cleaned. it most likely will subside but if feels as if it's worsening go to the doc. here's a fun little wives tale i grew up with concerning stys: take sterling silver, like a ring, and rub it on the edge of the eyelid over the sty and it should go away. i don't know how well that works but it's a fun wives tale nonetheless, good luck!
