The same thing happened to me when I got my ears pierced, turned out I was allergic to the earrings I chose, but since your other ear is fine, I would guess that, that's not your problem.
But here's what I tried when my ears were red and swollen, believe it or not, I used Anbesol (toothache medicine, over the counter at Wal-Mart), it cut every bit of the infection out in just a day or two and healed up nicely. My sister-n-law recommended it, she swore by it and it worked for me!
your ears will hurt, be red, warm, and swell. the best thing to do is keep the area clean. if the swelling gets worse or you notice pus, remove the earring. make sure your fingers are clean when you turn your ear rings. you may be having a reaction to the metel also.
thats normal, your ok!
dont worry about it as long as you're applying your antiseptic twice daily. And dont forget to atleast turn your ear ring once a day, this will prevent clotting and will relieved the pressure inside your ear lobe.
sounds like those ears need to come off through surgery
Keep an eye on it - but I had the same thing, and it was just a reaction to the piercing, nothing had gone wrong. After all, you did just get a hole in your ear and your body is trying hard to fix it! It'll take a while before it settles. Perhaps one ear just took to it better than the other. Sleeping on it means it's getting rubbed & knocked, so that's probably all.
Chances are good that you're fine, but it wouldn't hurt to go back to where you got it done and ask them about it if you're worried.
clean your ears. also clean your hand when nyou touch your ear. if the pain persist consult a doctor...
What you are describing is normal, especially if you sleep on that ear at night. Make sure you change or clean your pillowcase frequently during this healing process.
