it sounds like a gall bladder pain, appendix pain or maybe an ulcer. if she has a fever she needs to call an md asap. if this continues on and off an eval with a gastroenterologist is suggested. also it could be an ovary, preganancy? sometimes an ovarion cyst can cause pain. again watch and wait. hi levels of pain will alwya require an md.goodluck;)michele
It might be her diaphragm or it may even be her appendix. Get it checked out!
I would suspect possible liver involvement.
Is the pain in the front or back of the ribcage. If in the back & around he shoulder blade then it's her gallbladder.
It could be her gallbladder. Does she eat a lot of fatty foods? She may need to have it removed.
Definitely liver or gallbladder. Suspect the gallbladder if the pain increases after eating fatty meals.
Why on God's green earth are you asking this question on "Answers" - you should be talking to a doctor! Don't play around with you wife's health - be PROACTIVE! See a Dr. ASAP. That is unless you do not love her, and then if that is the case and you neglect the situation, you could be charged with murder if she dies! Use what little brain God gave you. Be responsible.
How long has this been going on? is she running a fever, is the area very tender or hard to the touch. If you answered yes to any of these then it could be her appendix.

If she feels "pukey" then get her to an ER right away. I would have her checked out as soon as possible unless she gets real ill then I'd just go in to a ER.

You can't be charged with murder, by the way.
