OH dear, i hope that you didnt possibly end up with a back injury out of this i am not going to profess thaT i know what to do, but would liek to offer a suggestion...
The inferior gluteal nerve is a nerve in the pelvis that innervates the gluteus maximus muscle (buttocks) and that is where it hurts- right? thigh- around the hips and across the back? if you have a deeep sharp pain in the middle of ur butt - that is the sciatic nerve. ( that pain u are feeling when you sit- well I bet it PULLS ? a great way to help with that is to (if u can) get a tennis ball and freeze it and then roll it around that area... it helps to kinda freeze that nerve..
I would go easy on the exercise.. dont rush it!
a good aerobic exercise is swimming...Maybe you can get in the POOL , if swimmng really bothers you, do some water walking. SO NOT OVER DO IT- it is possible... but the other exercises you do- wait till u feel better...
DID THE DR SUGGEST ANYTHING? If it really continues , I would wait on regular routine and go to a dr and ask a Physical Therapist. granted they are all gonna say, take it easy So much for a straight answer... but rather see ou get well then tell you something wrong.
I LOVE POOL THERAPY. Youcan do all your light stretching in the water.. but listen, u are 1/3 your body wt in the water - that is why u are so bouyant. and if u go on the pool, u may just feel better to FLOAT and kick your legs around. when my back was killing me- I would float on my back.. I was 275 lbs and lost the wt from pool therapy- i am down to 135 and I definitely did NOT overdue it! Become a water bug, u may never go back to land base exercises-
they make things such as water-weights
You tore muscle fibers.
See Thomas Griner
at his Website.
Mr Griner will explain
that aerobics and so on
are not beneficial. Ha, ha, ha.
There is so much
people profess to know
about exercise when the fact is:
they do not know. And their minds are closed.
Go to orthepedic doctor...He can tell you...
