dont worry, its most likely not blood, ive gotten soap in my eyes many times before, and it started stinging right after that, blood doesnt make your eyes sting, if it did, blood would probably be coming out your eyes-ha idk, dont worry about it, as long as it doesnt hurt now...

Anything could give you a burning sensation in the eyes. Its a foreign body to the eye... No ling term ill-effects from blood getting in your eye though!

and if it was blood I am pretty sure your own blood wont hurt you, you will be just fine!
Its like sucking your thumb when its bleeding, a little of your own blood in your eye is the same as in your mouth. Plus if you were in the shower, chances are that it was washed out.
it can't do any harm, unless what entered your eye was bacterial and infected it. blood is alright, you've got some of it in your head already, if you didn't realise. if you washed it out of your eye immediately, you are fine. if it continues to burn, see a physicist.
