Please Help. I just took (1 hour ago) 500mg of Naprosyn for a sore shoulder.?

~Give it more time. You didn't say why your shoulder was sore or if it was inflamed. Maybe a heating pad would help? I'd give it another half hour and if the pain is unbearable, see the doctor.~
If the pain is still and 8 you need to go to the hospital to find out what is wrong and to get the pain under control. Get off the computer and go to the hospital. Nurse of 33 years here.

Naprosyn doesn't help me neither. I have a damaged shoulder, not much will relieve the pain, try another 500mg, be careful and don't take it on a empty stomach.
Naprosyn can affect asthma too.
Have you tried a hot pack?
Or if the pain is that bad, maybe go to the local emergency centre.
You could try codeine, that usually takes the edge off it for me.
Always read the label first though. Hope the pain eases.

naprosyn might not be enough, do u have anything stronger, try a muscle relaxant too, and use either ice pack or warm compress whichever works for u..or alternate it, if it still doesnt work, better call ur md or the doctor on call and see what they will advice, take care
