Headaches! Help!?
Question:
Answers:
I have the same problem, my doctor thinks it's from sleep apnea - when you quit breathing periodically while you sleep, you're not getting enough oxygen, and when you don't get enough oxygen it causes headaches - and also makes it hard to swollow sometimes - Im not sure if anyone has ever told you that you quit breathing when you sleep, but it's a possibility, asked a loved one to watch you sleep and tell you the outcome - if you do quit breathing speradically throughout your nap then go to your doctor, I go through the same thing you are, that's why I suggest sleep apnea being a possible cause. God Bless and hope you're feeling better soon!!

Yes, tell your DR! I had them so bad that my DR put me on a perscription medication. They are so painful and if advil isn't helping then you need something stronger!
Hope you feel better!
Yes. Please go to a Dr it is the only thing that will help. Or a chiropractor
I get really bad headaches a few days after my period. I also had them really bad the first three months I was pregnant with my son. I don't get actual migraines though (I don't get the sensitivity to light or see auras or anything) so I just use Excedrin, and either Head On or an ice pack across the forehead. If you're getting actual migraines and not just bad headaches you really should see a doctor. My husband and mother both get migraines and the only thing that really helps them is prescription migraine medicine. My Mom takes Maxalt and my husband uses Zomig.
tell your doctor, i think they make medication for that now. (headaches around that time of month) related to PMDD or PMS or one of those things
Yes it does sound like a typical migraine.
And yes I think you should let your doctor know.
There might be something he can give you to help prevent the headaches from getting to bad.
But the hint is, you have to take something for the headache as soon as you feel it coming on. Don't wait until it gets too bad because then the medicine doesn't work as well.
Over the counter medicine would be Excedrin Migraine, that works the best.
