How Do I Stop Really Bad Period Pains?

Question:
I'm 15 and suffer from extremly bad period pains, it gets so bad that it makes me vomit and i can't move at all, i also feel really dizzy and light headed and often find myself going to the toilet alot, i get that sick that i cant even take medication to help, also the period pains start about 3 days before my actual period instead of one day, what can i do to help stop or ease the pain?

Answers:
when i first got my period i was the same way i couldn't even get out of bed...the best advise i can give you is to start on birth control...or course talk to your mom first..but birth control isn't just for preventing pregnancy but for regulating your period and your cramps and any other symtoms you might be encountering...i would say that it is diffenently time for your first OBGYN appt...that's the best doctor advise i can give you..otherwise chocolate can always help along with some hot peppermint tea and a big cozy blanket thats the best soothing advise i can give you...good luck and i hope that some of this helps...don't be scarred either about talking to your mom about your period she has been there before and i know that she would want the best for her daughter...at least my mom did even though sometimes i think she's a little crazy right now.
I would suggest taking something like ibuprofin but since you said you can't take medication that probably won't help
If they're really bad and it's every time you are about to get your period, my suggestion is that you go see a doctor who speciliazes in women's health (like an OBGYN)...maybe they can prescribe something that you take before or all month long that makes the pain less severe...
Until you get to a gynocoligist, take cotton or linen material, soak it in castrol oil, heat it in the microwave and wrap it around your abdomen.
Hi sweetie,
I'm 15 also
I had the same things. I couldn't handle it because it just kept getting worse so now my doc. put me on birth control. This is my first week so i hope it will help me . I am now gonna be tested for endometrioses. You might have that. I'm asking please go to your doctor and tell her your symptoms be specific. And dint be afraid to ask questions.
I hope i helped.
Ask your mom if you can go on the "pill"... Its rather embarrassing to ask... but it will ease your cramps.

I used to get god awful cramps when I was in high school. I had my mom take me to gyno and he put me on birth control to help with the cramps... and it worked!

Stay away from carbonated beverages... and anything with caffeine... those tend to make it worse. Drink water constantly...

The dizziness could be lack of iron... try to eat a protein bar...

Try putting some powdered ginger in warm water (to make like a tea) and sip it... It will help with the nausea!
Talk to your parents about taking you to a chiropractor. I have countless women who come into my office the days they have cramps for the "cramps adjustment." The adjustment I do for that will make the pain go away in 5 minutes to 2 hrs. The reason: the nerves that come out of the lower back go to supply the female organs. When these nerves are pinched, you may not have back pain, but it willl affect the muscles of the uterus, can cause cramps, endometriosis, infertility, bladder issues. It's not fun seeing women at their worst as often as I do, but it is nice to know I can help them.
plain tablet paracetamol 500 mg thrice a day should relieve your pain.

exersize about a week before your period is due, I found that if I had a few hard games of netball the week before that I hardly had any pain when I got my period
Hysterectomy that will cure it
