For the past 2 wks, 2 fingers on my lefthand have been numb like their asleep& I'm just wondering whats wrong?

Ring and middle fingers? Like the young lady said, carpal tunnel syndrome. You will likely be given a wrist splint to try first and that is all the treatment some people need for years.
Could it be carpal tunnel syndrome? Are you using your hands repetitively, like typing a lot on the computer? There could be some nerve damage.
If it is just at night, you could be sleeping with your hands in an awkward position, which would cause the tingling.
go see a doctor.
Let me guess, its you 4th and 5th finger right? The problem is
1.) YOU ARE SLEEPING ON YOUR HAND/Elbow
2.) Check your blood sugar and make sure your not diabetic.
3.) If its associated with any weakness in your hand then go to a doctor.

You might have an impingement. That`s a pinched nerve in your shoulder but is usually felt in your wrist and hands.
You can get that from over-use or over-training.
Another possibility of course is carpal tunnel.
it's possible you have a pinched nerve. Depending on what two fingers may locate where the pinch is at.
Or you may be developing carpal tunnel..
If the numbness in in the pointy & middle finger, it's more likely to be carpal, is it's ring and pinky it's somewhere else, like a shoulder.

It could be a blood clot in your arm or shoulder. A trip to the doctor is in order.
