Answers:
Speaking from personal experience.Lay on your stomach with both arms down by your sides and your head turned either way for 5 minutes at a time...After that you should do the "cobra" ..
Lie face down with your feet together and your toes pointing behind you.
Place your hands flat on the floor close to your body and beside your rib cage.
As you inhale, gently push off your hands, lifting your head and chest off the ground and tilting your head back.
You will Feel your chest moving forward as well as upward; this will help you keep from straining the lower back.
This will help, Also alternate between warm and cold, no more than 15 minutes of each..Frozen peas work well, as does a sock filled with rice and placed in the microwave for 15-35 seconds
Gentle stretching. Try sitting up straight in a chair and slowly leaning over with a straight back until you fell the stretch. Also, you can lay on your back and bring your knees to your chest.
Your doctor is the best source for information. But in general, refrain from sitting on sofy cushy surfaces. Sit on a hard chair instead. You can alternate ice packs and heating pads. Twenty minutes on, twenty minutes off. Practice proper body mechanics, i.e. bend at the knees, carry loads close to the center of your body, etc. Personally, I would see my doctor if the pain didn't subside in 2 or 3 days or immediately if the pain was excruciating.
Moist heating pad
advil, if ur having your period, midol
