Slouching problem?

Question:
I have a slouching problem. My shoulders are always scrunched forward and I always seem to be leaning forward. I can forcefully pull my shoulders back but it takes effort and I get tired when doing so. How do I correct this? Some specific info and tips would be helpful.

Answers:
my mom used to correct by sister by doing the book-on-head method, but my sister fixed herself over time.
I suggest that you lie down on a medicine ball so your back basically wraps around it.
When you're normally standing around, it helps to stick your hips out in front a bit more so that your upper body is more balanced. And, instead of pulling your shoulders back, push your chest out (this is easier to do than to pull back)

Good luck. Fix your posture whenever you find out you're slouching. yay.
when sitting back in a chair drop your shoulders and learn to sit up more straight... it takes time but once you get used to it you wont slouch anymore, it'll be natural.
Hi, You need to correct your posture. Slouching not only looks sloppy but is very bad for your back. At some time or another everyone slouches, you're not alone. You have to consciously pull back your shoulders, tuck in your gut and curve the back. At first it feels like your sticking your chest and butt out. Think about breathing, people breathe in and out, actually your diaphragm is supposed to breathe up and down. All it is is a habit of slouching, anything can bring it on, carrying back packs, babies, diaperbags, or stooping to hold small child's hand.
Standing up straight or sitting straight will help blood flow to the brain and help keep you at attention at work and it looks more professional and it gives you character.
