Why does my right testicle hurt ?

Question:
It's been hurting the past week.
It only hurts for a few minutes then it goes away.
It becomes very sensitive when it hurts.
I can feel the pain from my right testicle all the way to the right side of my lower abdomen, or that's how it feels atleast.
It hurts when I wake up, sometimes after I've had an erection, and sometimes just randomly throughout the day.
I don't have testicular cancer.
When I feel on the upper area(side that faces out), and go slightly behind the testicle that's where the pain seems to be coming from because when I touch that area it hurts more.
I'm 17 years old, I masturbate a lot. Would that have anything to do with it ?

Answers:
call the doctor about this one, you seemed to have waited it out mostly.have you lifted anything heavy lately? you could have gotten a hernia...or you could have pulled a groin muscle...best bet is just to go to a doctor just to be sure
