Coffee & Painkillers?

Question:
Is it ok to drink coffee while on a painkiller?

Answers:
Yes, but coffee generally impedes the healing process. If you are recoverying from a surgery or illness or have chronic pain, you may find that the pain killers are not as effective...same thing goes for smoking. Drink water. No caffeine.
yes it's ok
Coffee is an upper and the painkillers are downers. I would'nt think this is a good idea, but I'm not real sure.
yea it's ok
It should be okay. Excedrin has acetaminophen, aspirin & caffiene in it. Works wonderful for headaches.
