Abdominal pain?

yes all of them can do that. if you have to drink try to cut back. and always drink the same amount of water that you drink alcohol. even an extra glass in your case. it will keep it from crystallizing
I have that same pain and still trying to figure out what it is, of course I figure mine to be gastric ulcers or a cyst but it could be a number of things, the only way to find out really is to have the doc. do a complete physical and maybe an mri wouldn't hurt, who knows, I have been dealing with it for 3-4 yrs and have even been on pain meds because the doctors would rather keep writing perscriptions than to deal with the problem. good luck with it though. and hey if you figure it out let me know :)
Pain on the lower left side can be caused by your bowels.
Drinking adds gas so maybe that's the problem. There's not many organs on the lower left but pain can echo from other places in your body so having pain in one place does not always mean that's where the problem is.
If it continues go talk to your Doc.
this could be a case of pancreatitis. the pancreas goes across the abdomen. back pain can be a sign of chronic pancreatitis. youll need many blood tests during a pain attac to see if your amylase and lipase are elevated. in the meantime, its safest not to drink at all (sorry). i have aq webgroup sphincterofoddi_pancreatitis if u think u need more help. also if your gall bladder was removed, then your pancreas could be the trouble for sure.,goodluck;)michele
