Toe: Broken or Stubbed??

Question:
I just stubbed my toe really REALLY hard against this door. There isn't any visible damage, there's no bruise at the moment...I don't know - will it develop a bruise later on?? but it HURTS...it's very hard to walk on it, and I can't walk on it without it hurting really badly. Could it be broken, or is it just another stubbed toe?
(Usually when I stub my toe after a little while it's pretty much fine again, but this hasn't shown any signs of getting better within the hour.
Help please!

Answers:
you should check with your doctor just to be safe but when i broke mine i fell forward and some how the door for the closet went in between my toes and my body weight going forward broke mine. i looked down and my toe was pointing the wrong way. felt like lots of bee stings and i crawled down the hallway and if my knee would even touch the ground my toe hurt much much worse which was kinda weird. My toe swelled up so fast it straightened my toe out in like a minute and the bruise appeared in seconds. if it keeps hurting and you cant walk on it you need to go get an xray just to be safe. good luck sorry about the pain.
every time you "stub" your toe you crack the bone a little bit
most likely stubbed .
Immediate amputation is warranted! Just kidding, if you still have pain in three days, see a Doctor.
