Cold water ~ run it over your skin until it quits hurting, you have to stop the burning. DO NOT put on any butter, lotion or anything like that. If it has blisters, DO NOT pop them, depending on how big a space the burn is on, (if the burn area is as big or bigger than your palm) go to the ER. If no blisters, just let it air out.
1st degree burns are like sunburns
2nd degree burns have blisters
3rd degree burns do not hurt and they are the worst.
Put a dry dressing on the burn. Do not put any butter or salves or anything on it. If it blisters, do not pop them. If your whole stomach is burned worse than what a sunburn would look like, I would go see a doctor.
cold compress, put ice in a sealable bag, put bag of ice on tummy over cloth to prevent sticking. also don't pop any blisters
alovera
A 1st degree burn looks like a real bad sunburn. for this just stop the burning. keep it dry after burning has stopped
ANYTHING WORSE THAN THIS IS: 2nd &3rd Degree
2nd and 3rd degree burns need to go to the hospital and get medical attention.
How big and bad would make a difference. Just 1st degree: Redd like sunburn, as long as not more than you front torso, youd be okay to cool with water and then use a salve like Aloa vera. If blistered or wet looking this is a 2nd degree burn. If bigger than your hand, I'd cool it with a wet towel (Care no to break blisters) and go to ER. THey would probably give you some silvadine ointment (Awesome stuff). I doubt a splash would be 3rd degree, but if dry and leathery looking with painless areas (where nerves died from burn) go to hospital.
Do Not use Vaseline, Butter, anything goopy, especially if your going to the hospital because they will have to scrub it off OUCH!
