I have a big old cut on my knee that is infected. I plan to swim in a pool tonight. Is this a bad idea?

Question:

Answers:
it's a very bad idea.. You can spread those germs to someone else that swims in that pool.. Wait a day or so or until it heals completely before swimming...
wear a bandaid on it in case,
but the chlorine may possibly do it good by killing the bacteria.
get some neosporin or polysporin on that sucker.
you could either cover it with some water proof bandages OR leave it open the chemiclas in the pool will probably help it! but it will look gross! are you gonna be swimming with others that might not want to see it?
Hm. I'm thinking it's worse than a bad idea. The chlorine in the pool could irritate the infection causing it to get worse.
Bad idea on SO many levels!
Good idea the chlorine will clean it. Although other people might not be to pleased with you.
Well, yes it is. It's bad for you because chlorine doesn't kill everything. There could be bacteria and other bugs living in the pool that can get into your already inected cut and make it worse. It is also bad for others who have to swim in the pool because, like I said, the chlorine doesn't kill everything.
yes its a bad idea! if its infected and u put it in chlorine it will burn like hell and will get worse go to doctors and get medicine for it and dont go swimming tonite! cuz if its get too infected it could ruin ur entire leg so if u dont get medicine for it say goodbye to ur leg! cuz the docs will have to chop it off!!

so have fun and good luck
