Answers:
I'd suggest you see a doctor. I know of one guy who hopped off of a step ladder from a couple of steps up and broke an ankle. There are a lot of small bones in the foot and they aren't that hard to break. Left untreated a small broken bone can cause some major problems down the road.
you should definitely go see a doctor!
Sounds like you have either a sprain or a hairline fracture. It is never a bad idea to have an injury like this checked out. Have a few x-rays taken and then you will know how bad it is.
it is true when people will say that time heals the wound. but for your case, it is better to see a doctor in case of any internal injuries or fractures.
Put warm water in bowl add some salt dip your foot in it for a while and then rub olive oil or iodex. if persist please consult your doctor
I just made a really bad decision a couple of months ago, with the same symptoms and now i am wearing this HUGE BOOT on my leg from the knee down. I knew I didn't have a break I just thought that I had really deep bone bruising and probably twisted it.
Well, I know know that I had fractured it and with waiting so long to have it seen to, it has already started to heal itself. Which really isn't a good thing. Now, my treatment will be twice as long and probably more painful.
So, of course my advice is go to the doctor.
P.S. My doc told me with that type of injury and swelling I should have been on the look out for a blood clot as well.
Verifying that the bones are in the proper place will decrease the pain that might otherwise occur.
Soak in Epsom's salts and warm water (as warm as you can handle)
The lack of movement is probably from the swelling
Turmeric has decreased the pain for some diabetics that I know and is non prescription from a health food store.
