My aunt husband got stung by a hornet and his hand been swollen for more than a day what do he do?

Question:
his hand is mad big it look like a balloon

Answers:
He's having an allergic reaction to a hornet sting. A little swelling is normal But having a hand that looks like an over- inflated latex glove is not.Get off the computer and get the man to the ER.
Before he leaves the ER make sure that the Docs give him a prescription for an EpiPen
He's allergic to the sting, and needs to go in to the ER
Give him an anti hystamine like benadryl or claratin. (These are allergy pills) Sounds like he might have an allergy.
It's an allergic reaction. It's been a day so I am going to assume he is going to "make it". But he doesn't need the circulation in his hand to stop. He could loose his hand. Even if money is tight, suggest a visit to the emergency room so he can get a shot to reduce the swelling.
1 Step One Remove the stinger using a dull knife if necessary. This can be done by scraping in the opposite direction from the stinger entry.
2 Step Two Put ice into a plastic sandwich bag, wrap with a washcloth and apply to the wound.
3 Step Three Check sting after 15 minutes to make sure it is not swelling abnormally.
4 Step Four Dry the area and apply a topical antihistamine to reduce the pain.
5 Step Five Reapply the antihistamine as necessary.
6 Step Six Take an oral medication, like ibuprofen, to reduce the venom's effects on your body if needed
Well if you want a natural treatment for it its best to take warm water pour asprin (ibuphrone) and dip his hands in it look for where the sting is and squeez it. Its going to hurt alot but when you see that little blood coming its ok. L eave it there for about 15 min. Then you take it out and put an ice pack to the hand for the swelling would go down.

But if you want the modern way you can buy sting relief medication like the following:

He may be allergic to the sting go to the hospital and get him some help
What he should do is to take a Benedryl and ice his hand. It sounds like he could be allergic to them. Just to be on the safe side he should have it checked out by a Doctor. I am allergic to them and that's what happens to me. I have to take a benedryl and I also have to ice it and also my throat starts to shut off and my heart starts to beat really fast. I hope this will help. Hornets do not leave their stinger in they sting continous like Wasps and Yellow Jackets. Bees are the only ones that will leave their stinger in.
see a doctor
