i heard that this was because of my piano playing.

no i was born with my left pinkie turning inwards and I dont play a piano.Nor is it inconvenience
Mine bend kind-of inward, and it believe it is from popping them so much as a kid, but then again that may be just how they are.not a big deal as long as your pinkie are still hitting the right keys, right?
