Should i continue my yoga routine during my period?

Question:

Answers:
Sure there is no reason why not. In fact doctors actually say that if you do some sort of activity while you are on your period that it can help relieve (not completly) cramps.
I had medical problems and never had a normal period in my life, but might as well give it a try. Good luck.
of course!! will probably help with cramps too, lol
yes, and it will make you feel better. Period depression will not kick in.
Yes,but there are poses you should not do.

Avoid any inverted poses.

yes, you certainly can.
as others have said it should help with any cramping or back aches... as it massages the internal organs.
traditional yoga texts say not to do inversions (head or shoulder stands, the plow, etc...) but I have often done them anyway- the concept is that they thought it would slow down or reverse the blood flow.
I have never had problems doing a full vinyasa(flow/ power yoga) routine during my period.
Do what feels right for your body.
