I got a splinter in my hand about 2weeks ago and its still in there but the skin is after healing over it?

Question:
how do i get it out?

Answers:
you need to ask yourself do you need 2 get it out??
if it hurts you then go to a doctor and get it removed but if it doesnt hurt then just leave it there and your body will naturly take care of it!!!
i use finger nail clippers, just start off by taking a little skin at a time. u can get to the point where u can get to it to pull it out with tweezers or remove the splinter with clippers by removing it and skin. it doesn't really hurt unless you go too deep.
Well, does it hurt still when you touch the area or use the hand? If it doesn't that do you really need to remove it? As skin grows out the splinter will, in all likely hood, come to the surface naturally If it is painful or infected the best way is to go to a doctor and have it removed under a local anesthetic. The whole digging into the skin with a pocket knife and tweezers, often damages more skin than is necessary and you may not get the entire splinter out. Also the longer any biological material stays in the body the more it will be broken down so the splinter may not come in in one piece anymore if you do try to remove it on your own.
Your body is made to fix things like this. If it is not swollen, leave it alone. You'll make it worse. I had a splinter in my hand for 2 years before it eventually dissolved on its own.
