When you go to bed at 5 or 6, set your alarm clock for 10 or 11 in the morning. When it goes off, get up and have an active day. On 5 hours of sleep, you should be relatively tired at an earlier hour. So go to bed a little earlier and set the alarm clock for 8 or 9 and so on, until you get back to the point you want to be at.
change ur schedule slowly. have a warm glass of milk at 10/11 pm & get in the bed with sweet dreams.
WOW that's pretty much staying up all night. Try staying up all night and then all day. Then you will definatly want to fall asleep at a regular time the next night and order will be restored.
2 choices. Either stay up all day and night and end up going to sleep at a regular time, keeping yourself awake throughout the day with activities or you can go to sleep at 6 in the morning and wake up early at like 11. The second is my choice, it's how I straighten myself out all the time because I work 3rd shift. Trust me, it works. If you're planning on staying up all day, I would suggest no dose or stackers to keep you awake.
You need a time when you go to bed, tired or not. Then, wake-up at a set time too. Your body will adjust to it. If you take naps through the day, ending that can help make your night time sleeping more consistent.
When I have to sleep but know that I'm not tired, I take a Tylenol PM. It helps for the short term. In a few days, I can be on a different sleep schedule that way.
I have many alarms in different places in my room. When they go off, I have to stand-up and walk around. That helps me wake-up.

p.s...do not take tylenol pm unless you are in pain please and avoid drugs that keep you awake during the day..that stuff especially tylenol pm..damages your liver and it is addictive..you can try simply sleep..or sleep md sleep md is good.. im praying for you sweetie!
Force yourself to wake up at the same time every day, regardless of when you went to sleep. The habit of waking up at the same time every day will moderate any urges you have to stay up late. If you do this (no cheating) and it doesn't work, see a doctor.
Change habits: Correct your sleeping and eating schedule. The same way people adjust their body when they travel into different time zones.
Go to bed early -- and turn off your lights by 9 pm, get up at 7 am, breakfast no later than 8 am, have lunch around noon, dinner no later than 6 pm.
Repeat same schedule daily and stay active during the day -- get in bed by 9 pm with lights off stay in bed even if you can't fall asleep -- don't worry because your body would still be getting needed rest.
Darling, welcome to my life, sometimes I don't sleep at all because of this -- and it sux!!!
This is going to take some major will power on your part but you just might have to do it to get back on track.
Stay up all night and all day -- go to bed that next night at your desired time ---- then when you wake up, stay awake and stick to your new schedule. It's VERY difficult when you're not use to staying up that long.
(another way is to go camping -- it's always easier to sleep when you have nothing else to do --- --- --- also, take a jog in the middle of the afternoon)
