Is it good to crack your neck/back?

Question:
my neck and back keep on hurting, is it ok to crack them to relieve the pressure?
(i play volleyball and i think the jumping hurts it)

Answers:
ABSOLUTLY NOT! You can actually do more harm than good. Sure it feels good but how do you know the adjustment you made is the correct one? If you are still having problems then you need to see a chiropractor. He/she will be able to do the right adjustment on you and tell you if you have any problems at all.

True Story: A woman and her husband were sitting in their home in Clearmont Fl. The wife left her husband in the living room and came back 15 min laters and found her husband dead on the floor. Long story short...When the autopsy came back it showed he had a broke neck. He actually broke his own neck cracking it (with his hands) His wife said he was always doing it. Need I say more?
Yes.
Some say yes, some say no. I say see a chiropractor.
Oh, do you do back stretches before and after?
You won't hurt them any cracking them, but it's an indication that you have a lot of tension there. You are trying to relieve the pressure there, but it will only feel good for a short time. It's due to overdoing it during sports. If you feel like cracking it, let somebody with some training do it, then it will stay loose a lot longer, like a Chiropractor, or Osteopath. Then they can give you some stretching exercises to keep it from getting stiff again. Doing it youself will not solve the problem.
Only if you don't do it really often.
yes its good for you
