Whats wrong with grandpa?

Question:
hi, thanks for looking at this, cuz i need an answer.

today me and my grandpa were working out in the yard cleaning up a bunch of down trees from a storm. my grandpa is 73 and has been an incredibly hard worker all his life. but today he was breathing hard over just alittle but of work, he kept on taking breaks and when we ate lunch he threw all of it up.
i am 99% sure that he was dehydrated, but i think there might be something more to it. do you know what it is?

Answers:
I would bet it is dehydration. I would take him to the doc tomorrow. Unless he get worse or cannot keep any food or fluids down. If he continues to feel more weak or runs a temp get him the the ER. The heat can do really bad things to the elderly but like you said there could be other things going on as well. There is no way for anyone on here to know what else could be wrong with your grandpa. They are all guesses and you do not want to go on a guess when it comes to your grandpa. He does need to be seen by a doc. Sooner then later. Good luck and I hope your grandpa gets better soon!!
hey,
im sorry he wasnt feeling good chiz..thats a bummer
but it was probably dehydration. it also has to be that he's getting older. my grandpa is turning 85 in a month so i know what its like.. but that stinks
but dont worry about it!

c ya
Dehydration does sound logical. he might also have some heart disease, at his age. If he isn't feeling his old self tomorrow he may want to go to the Dr.
I'm afraid he's suffering from a case of what I like to call death.
could be dehydration or heat stroke, or the fact that he is getting older and his body cant keep up with what his mind thinks it can
