What are these sores near groin and upper thigh?
Question:
Answers:
you could have HPV even without the more common genital warts that people these days associate with the disease. Large, open sores are common in many STD's and as you requested, ill not advise you to go to the doctor. However, i will mention that simply being tested for STDs as opposed to an expensive doctor visit, at least for starters will serve to possibly (probably) solve your problem but to provide a starting point in your quest for an answer. Alternately, if youre a bit over-weight, and your skin rubs together where the sores pop up, especially in the summer it could just be a matter of chafing and subsequent infection.
In the mean time, do your best to keep the affected areas clean and very dry. Cover them with gauze during the day if you like, but also be sure to let them be in the open air to give them additional oxygen exposure
I really feel for you.
