Answers:
Well I wish i had more information on why hes recommending it, so that question i can not answer however, I had my tailbone removed at age 16. For me there wasn't much of a choice, i had a ulcer that wouldn;t heal and a bone infection that wouldn't go away. I do notice it on occasion and he will have to be careful after it is done if he does decide to have the surgery. Its a very long healing process as well. He will have advantages over me though since he can walk and get around( i am in a wheelchair so was confined to a bed). That will get the circulation going and possibly heal a tad faster. I can not tell you much about pain since i am limited in that area to start with but. For me it was a necessary evil. Do i recommend it...it all depends on how much pain hes in, what his problems are and how much its interfering with his life.
get a second opinion, i've never heard of getting your tailbone removed.
Do contacts irritate a lot of people?
Your grandpa is better off asking his doctor that question...
this seems like a crock of "poo" but im not a doctor. did he ever seriously injure it?
