My husband can't sleep...?

Tell him to stop sleeping on the job and bop him over the head at bedtime... No seriously, has he been stressed? More work hours? Change in family or finances? At his age he may be suffering from mild depression. I was diagnosed with it a year ago and put on meds, which I hated. I felt worse on them then I read that ST. John's Wort was used to treat it sometimes so I went off my meds and started buying over the counter St.John's Wort and 4 months later I feel much better. Maybe he could also try a week without the beer and see if it helps. If he goes with the St. John's wort make sure you read any precautions if he has any medical conditions or if he is taking any meds regularly. Otherwise just follow dosing instructions and see if it helps. It may take a week or two to see any noticable difference but at least it's an all natural approach.
it has been proven that alcohol can affect sleeping. especially since he has been doin it for so long his body has probably gotten used to the alcohol effects and instead of making him more sleepy, its probably doing the opposite. in addition, his mind is probably just restless and his nervous system is not calming. Id recommend taking Calms Forte sleep aid. The great thing is that its not like tylenol PM or sleeping pills, its all natural and instead of making you tired, it just calms the mind and nervous system so you naturally fall asleep. there is no overdose or side effects
