Wasp sting...HELP!?
Question:
Answers:
Take a credit card and scrape over the sting site to get the stinger out.. don't use tweezers as you will just inject more of the poison from the stinger into him. then ice it and wrap it. Chances are, it will heal itself but you may wish to have him checked by a doctor anyhow.
black sab! it smells but it helps pull a stinger out.
Or just put some mud on it.
I hate bees!
It may sound weird, but put vinegar compresses on it. It will reduce redness and stop itching.
put a little baking soda and get it wet but not to much water just enough so that it will stick to his skin and put a band aid over it and ice it
Meat tenderiser. I know that sounds crazy, but it breaks down enzymes (thats what it does to make the meat tender). So it will also break down the enzymes that the poison is made of. Examine it closely, make sure the stinger is out. But don't go digging in it, like with a pin or something. but use a credit card to kinda scrap it out.
I always take an aspirin, mix with a drop of water into a paste and spread over the sting or bite. It takes any pain away, and reduces the redness. I have heard that the other remedies listed also work.
Have your father take a Benedryl and also Ice it to get the swelling down if it is swollen. I'm allergic to them so I know what to do about hornet and wasps, and Yellow Jackets.
Buy a good quality bottle of lavender oil, not cheap stuff it is factory made. Put a drop on bites, stings. cuts. splinters
