Hip Abductor problem...?
Question:
Today I am unable to walk without severe pain in the operated area and also in the perineal area. First I went to urologists, Surgeons, anethesiologists for pain management (PNE--radio frequency procedure), and chiropractors. I've had MRI and CT scans. Everything negative; all unhelpful. Blood work normal. The pain is horrific and I feel nauseous and weak to walk or sit. Drs. can't find a thing wrong with me. HELP!!
Answers:
Have you consulted an orthopedic doctor? It seems like your problem is more of a musculoskeletal problem. Is it just one side meaning right or left? If you are having problems with your muscles around your hips, that can cause pain when you sit on them and weakness when you walk. I would advise for you to go to an ortho doctor and possibly he will refer you to physical therapy and that would probably help you with the pain that you are experiencing, hopefully. Hope you feel better soon.
igf-1 treatment would fix your problem.
These things are possible unrelated. I would venture to say that your problem ulimately stems from the surgical procedure (as a strained abductor should not be painful this long) It sounds as if you are having more pelvic pain rather than hip abductor problem.
I'd recommend seeing a practicioner in the pelvic pain society. Visit this website to learn more or find a practicioner near you.
