Answers:
go to a doctor that knows what he is doing. alot of hepatitus symtoms include yellowing of certain areas of the body usually the eyes.
Go to the dr.
Yellow tongue usually indicates a virus. It may also be a throat infection. Your tonsils inflating means you must take them out. Ask if you can be put to sleep if you are paranoid about removing them while simply on a pain killer.

Make an appoinment with your doctor as soon as possible.
I would start off by going to a different doctor if the one you are going to hasn't solved it already. It could be something serious that he is totally missing.
If you've gone through three rounds of anti-biotics, they very well may need to come out!
Go see an Ear Nose Throat specialist very soon.
Go to the ER if it doesn't go down in the next day or two and tell them what you just told us.
What virus did he say you had?
BTW, if your doctor doesn't know that anti-BIOTICS are for a BACTERIAL infection NOT a VIRUS, I think you may need a new doctor!
lol

Start chugging the chicken noodle, and get sone advil in you and KEEP it in you.
get some good anti-bacterial mouthwash, and if you can stand it, gargle with some warm saltwater. (or do like I did and eat a CRAPLOAD of chicken noodle soup! lol)
Good luck! I know how you feel!

BTW, Now days when they take them out, they almost ALWAYS put you to sleep first.
It's only a VERY few barbaric doctors that swear you can do it without anesthesia. They usually only use local anesthesia if you have bad heart problems and are in danger of dying while you're knocked out!
:-D
