My foot is still not 100% healed..?
Question:
Should I see a doctor about it.. or will it just take time to fully heal?
I get zero pain or any trouble from it..
Answers:
It should not take that long for an open wound to heal, if the graze is open, it would be classed as a leg ulcer by now (an ulcer is defined as an open wound that takes longer then 6 weeks to heal)
There are a number of factors that could delay healing,
how old are you? as we get older it takes longer to heal.
Are you a smoker? smoking delays healing
Are you diabetic? or have any vascular disease?
The swelling could be related to the graze as it's normal for the affected to remain swollen, but it could also indicate another problem.
Get yourself to your GP for a review, if it's just the wound causing the swelling your practice nurse can dress it for you.
I'm sorry to hear about your accident. You should see a doctor about it, it could be anything. Even though there is no pain, I still think you should at least have it checked out.
Well thats depence i think you go see a doctor because an ankle sprain would´ve healed by now.
Maybe you tore some ligaments in it or even fractured it.
Does it hurt when you examen your ankle or walk on it?
But to be on the safeside go see a doctor.
Good Luck
it sounds like you never saw a doctor?if it didn't hurt you enough to go in the last 6 months, idk why go now.i'm being sarcastic, sorry.see, you should have went when it first happened, they would have splinted it and told you to stay off at least 2-3 weeks.with ankle fracture up to 5 months non weight bearing.
on july 12th i fractured(broke)my foot in 3 places and i'm still in a cast.
if you have zero pain, that's good but if it were me i would at least go and get an x-ray.but now it has healed in such a way that if anything is wrong, they'd prob.have to operate to correct.swelling after 6 months is a red flag and not normal,so plz go to a doctor.
