Answers:
your doctor is right. with a deep bruise it will take a month to heal. wrap it tight with an ace bandage for protection and you'll be fine.
If you are in good health, it will take about one month, sweetie. If you have any immune issues at all, though, it will take much longer.
Try to eat healthy foods, rest well enough at night.

Keep it wraped. My big bro is a football doc, he taught me everything he knows. Drink alot of milk and take alot of pain- killers. Get alot of rest, and it should be healed in a week.
Yes, let me say, I broke my wrist, and I know this is different but it took, 5 weeks in a cast, 10 weeks in a brace, and still, no lifting till about four weeks after that, I have yet to see him at the end of that!
Sorry to say, but it will take AT LEAST a month for this to heal, longer to feel "normal". Try soaking it in Epsom salt mixed into warm water. It will help wit the swelling and the bruising as it would a sprain. Also try the RICE technique - Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation. Ice for only 20 minutes at a time and for compression, use something like an ace bandage. Do not leave the bandage on for long periods (overnight) or your whole arm will swell. Try the compression for 4 hours at a time.
let me tell you pray to god for it to heal go to church and live for god
1] for next 48 hours - use ice - 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off.
2] keep it elevated above the heart as much as possible
3] take Advil or Motrin - every 6 to 8 hours for next two days
4] wrap it up in an ace bandage or wrap
5] keep an eye on the puncture, and apply antibiotic ointment at least twice a day
6] after two days, can use warm compresses
OUCH! All I could really tell you is to keep nursing it until it heals.
