Can you sniff hairspray fumes burned with fire?

Question: I Have a real problem., as i caught my son earlier today in the bathroom, playing with a lighter and hairpray. He tried to explain me he was trying some type of experiment, but as a mother of a 14 years old , i dont believe him and my question now is : can you get high by just sniffing the fumes coming out of the combustion?

This is really dangerous. I had a friend do this and he went to the emergency room. You can get high on hairspray, but I am not sure why he would be lighting it. Please talk to him or find someone he trusts that will tell him how dangerous it is to light a highly volatile substance. He could disfigure his face and/or body for life. I am 33, so not a kid, and years ago a friend of mine decided to do this and burned himself badly and almost burned his house down. I am so glad you are concerned and realize he is not telling the truth. Please get him help.

well im not exactly sure but i know that you can get high off hairspray so i would say yes to your question. i did a project on inhalents and i would sugest taking the hairspray and lighter away.
