How do I make Gardasil hurt less?

I got my first Gardasil vaccine almost two months ago (it's almost time for my second one). It hurt SO much I can't stop thinking about how much it's going to hurt again. It hurt IMMEDIATELY when they injected it, and then was sore for a couple days. The soreness I can deal with because it's so gradual and isn't "scary." But that immediate pain is HORRIBLE. I know that like Tetanus they put an agent in that irritates (it won't work if it doesn't hurt). But how do I make it not so painful? I don't mind the poking part, but is there some way they can make it not hurt so much to inject?

I'm getting 2 root canals, i couldn't breathe and was scared to death!! the dentist, actually had me do breathing excercises with her to calm myself down.

wear you ipod or headset when you get it down
have someone hold ur hand and squeeze real hard
tell the nurse that it really hurt last time, and ask her to be gentle.

look it up on the net, and see if other's feel this pain you feel.
talk to others and share horror pain stories.

tell the nurse you are a needlea-phobic and you would like to sit down and that the 1st one really hurt, tell her that this one can't hurt like the first, and butter her up and tell her i bet u give painless injections huh?

Easy you don't take it. Gardasil can be very dangerous. It contains a live cancer virus and Thimerosol which is essentially mercury. Thimerosol is used as a preservative.
Mercury is very dangerous and can make you very SICK !

Many young girls have become sick and some have died as a result of receiving this vaccine.

Please investigate this drug before you agree to it's use.
If you are being forced to take this, assert your rights and refuse until you can make an informed decision

Gardasil is a potentially dangerous vaccine and should not be taken lightly. if you are going to accept this vaccine you should educate and decide for yourself if this medicine is right for you.

I do not agree with state and local governments forcing people to take this.

The studies and phase 3 trials are spotty at best. I could not in good conscience recommend this medicine to my patients.
